Can you believe how much your thigh burns in this posture?\u00a0 Or how hard it is to keep the straight leg from slipping?\u00a0\u00a0 Then the teacher seems to keep holding this posture forever.\u00a0 What’s a yogi to do?\u00a0 Ah, the sweet sensation of stretching and strength with sweat running down your body.<\/p>\n

Ok… \u00a0this posture is really much simplier than it seems some time.\u00a0\u00a0 So a couple tips to remember.\u00a0\u00a0 Always make sure that your heels are exactly in one line.\u00a0 This creates the base of the foundation that you are creating.\u00a0 Then when you are bending your knee- don’t stop until you are all the way down – yes make sure you feel your thigh burning.\u00a0\u00a0 Contiue to keep your straight leg – straight and strong.\u00a0\u00a0 Now your total foundation is in place.\u00a0 Then you simply turn your arms making sure that the elbow is at the knee and the fingers are stretching between the big and second toe – all the while looking up while stretching your arms in two different directions.\u00a0 Now what?\u00a0 It’s simple – breathe and think stillness.\u00a0\u00a0 That’s it.\u00a0 Enjoy..!!<\/p>\n
